John 4:24 ……… God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
Although music is a part of true worship, it is not exclusively so. True worship is much, much more about attitude.
When we allow the Holy Spirit to draw us with cords of love into the awesome presence of Almighty God, we may want to sing; we may want to dance or we may just want to fall on our faces in an attitude of gratitude and thanksgiving for God’s amazing love.
When we are caught-up in such intimate revelation we are oblivious to ourselves and our surroundings; we are enraptured by Him; it is all about Jesus.
There is overwhelming love, ecstatic joy and endless peace in His presence. The Holy Spirit interacts with our human spirit and we are absorbed into a technicolor wash as the full spectrum of His glory heightens our every sense.
This is real, it is not imagined, we are in a place of true worship with the lover of our soul; our Lord Jesus Christ.
What can we say except words of adoration and adulation….. We worship Him. It is all about Jesus. It is not about how we feel, it is all about Jesus.
"Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come."
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being."
"Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honour and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!"
