God loves you! What does it mean to say God loves you? In our day the word “love” can mean many things — romantic feelings, food you like, your feelings for your pet.
But when the Bible says “God is love”, it means:
- God loves you so much He sent His Son to die for you
- God loves you from the beginning of the world
- God loves you and wants the very best for your life
- God loves you even though He knows every area where you have failed Him
- God loves you even when you have turned your back on Him
- God loves you and knows your good points and your strengths and how much good you can do
- God loves you and wants to spend eternity in heaven with you
- God loves you and wants to spend time with you here on earth
- God loves you and has a wonderful plan for your life
God is so wonderful! I encourage you to accept His great gift of love. You are loved by God — the Lord of the universe, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. How great is His love for you!
So this week, let us pray that
- You will accept God’s love — and love Him back
- God will show His love to you and through you
- God will cover and protect our staff at Global Media Outreach
