Lean not on your own understanding

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5

You can trust in God. What does it mean to trust? Picture a small boy who loves his father and he knows his father loves him. The small boy runs to his father and jumps and says “Here daddy catch me!” He knows his father loves him and will catch him. The small boy trusts his father will watch out for him and care for him.

In much the same way, we need to believe that our heavenly Father loves us and cares for us and will watch out for us. God loves us! He loves us so much He gave His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins. “If God is for us, who can be against us. He who did not spare His own Son, but gave Him up for us all — how will He not also, along with Him, graciously give us all things?”

So do not worry, your heavenly Father loves you and He will care for you. If you trust the floor in a building will hold your weight, you can walk on it. You can trust that God will watch over you and care for you. He loves you and He will protect you.

So, this week, let us pray that God will
  • Protect you and your family from harm
  • Give you His plans for your future so you will know what to do with your life
  • Protect our staff and volunteers at Global Media Outreach and help us reach more people for Jesus Christ
THANK YOU so much for your prayers.

May God bless you!
