Jesus is our Savior

Jesus is our Savior!!! What does this mean? It means that without Jesus Christ we will receive what we deserve for our sin -- eternal punishment and separation from God. We have rebelled against the God of the universe in our thoughts, our words, and our actions.

But the good news -- the wonderful news -- is that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to this earth to be born as a man -- and to suffer and to die for our sins. Jesus Christ, who did not commit any sins, took on Himself the punishment that was due for us. He willingly chose to go to the cross -- to suffer an agonizing death as a criminal -- so that we might go free.

All we need to do is to accept this free gift. No one can force you to take a gift. But God, who is rich in mercy, offers us the gift of forgiveness of sins... of becoming a child of God... of having eternal life in heaven with God. Who would not accept such a wonderful gift of God's love?

If you or anyone you know has never accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you can go to www.Jesus2020.com which has a prayer that you can pray to accept Christ. If you have accepted Christ, congratulations! You are part of the family of God and your brothers and sisters are millions of fellow believers in Jesus Christ around the world. Let us praise God together for His great love for us.

So, this week, let us pray and

  • Thank God for sending His Son Jesus Christ -- who is God Himself -- to die on the cross for our sins
  • Ask God to help all your family and loved ones accept Jesus Christ as Savior
  • Ask God to bless Global Media Outreach with finances and volunteers so we can reach even more people for Jesus Christ
  • Ask God to protect the staff and volunteers at Global Media Outreach and fill us all with His Holy Spirit

THANK YOU so much for your prayers for us. It is only by the power of God's Holy Spirit that we are able to help reach the world for Jesus Christ. God hears and answers believing prayer and we so appreciate your prayers.

May God bless you,
